What are your thoughts about publishing? Although authors lose control when being published by larger "house," they gain marketing reach and distribution channels. A small proven publisher can work hand-in-hand with an author to accomplish the same without too much loss of control. First-time authors need to experience self-publishing before appreciating what is really involved with getting a book to market.
