Hey PiBoIdMo'ers! How many ideas do you have so far? Are you stuck, or smokin'?

Look at me, promoting myself. LOL, that is so not me. Please don't feel obligated to click on every link I put.

So true! It's my first year doing piboidmo, too. I did nanowrimo last year and realized I was doing the wrong writing challenge (sort of). I blogged about that, too.

The internet seems to be the balm for the loneliness of writing. No longer are we sending our words out into the great wide world without having made some wonderful connections firs.

Loved your link to the Halloweensie contest and your entry.  Very clever!  I may try to create an entry for that and get my "juices flowing", too.  Great idea.  I am brand new to the PiBoIdMo event, so I was just posting my "badge" here as part of our stages of commitment to the challenge.  Seemed like a great place to share the idea in case there are others  (like me) who know nothing of all the amazing fun ways to network with other authors and industry professionals while deepening the well of knowledge.  Writing can be a lonely world, so great sources of inspiration with "deadlines" are a good way to keep focus.

YES, I'm in. Are you kicking it off here, Dianne? I entered the Halloweensie contest to get my juices flowing.

Anybody else joining in the fun and learning?

"Little Hal," my first children's book, is now available from Sarah Book Publishing. Although targeted to ages 7-12, this story about a rare pygmy hippopotamus will appeal to anyone who is interested in the preservation of endangered species.

Thanks for the info. I think my word document has some hidden formatting errors. When I paste it in the email, some of the paragraphs indent wrong, there are different size fonts, and the alignment is all over the place. I was trying to see if I could paste in just the text and build the format within the email. From what you said, though, it looks like I can't.

Yes, you should just make sure you have rich text formatting on. Then you can copy and paste it directly from Word.
