Welcome to Writers, Agents and Editors Network

Hello everyone, we’re so happy so see you all here! WAENet is the premier place on the web for Writers, Agents, and Editors to meet and discuss our shared passion for books, literature, and publishing.

WAENet is a unique social space that specifically caters to the needs of the writing community.Tell us more about yourself!

  • Are you writing a book?
  • Have you published?
  • Did you go through a traditional publisher or
  • did you self-publish?
  • What challenges do you face as a writer, agent, or editor?
  • What groups have you joined on WAENet?
  • And how would you like to see the website further develop?

How you can have more fun on WAENet:

  • Make sure you upload a profile photo so we can see you.
  • post your additional  information and answers in your profile text box
  • add videos of you doing your thing
  • add photos so we can see what you are all about

We are co-founded by Jeff Herman who for 30 years as a top literary agent has curated and brought over 1,000 titles to life through the traditional publishing world. Check him out at

Deborah Herman is an author of over eleven traditionally published books and just landed her first six figure advance with a major publisher. Deborah has been curating and developing projects with her husband Jeff for at least 25 years and now runs her own publishing company called Micro Publishing Media. She also has three MBA certifications in digital marketing strategy and social media strategy.

The third co-founder, Joshua Tree Adams, is a beloved member of the WAENet family both figuratively and literally as he has followed his parents footsteps into the publishing biz. He is Deborah's son and Jeff's step-son but has completely exceeded expectations and prayers in his own right that one of the three Herman children would work in the family business. Joshua is a graduate of the Ohio State University in its Juried Creative Writing program but has been a professional book, blog and general content editor for over three years. He is called a "book-whisperer" a well-deserved moniker.

We are here to help you with whatever you need to succeed in this crazy, often un-glamorous professional. Call on us. We are here for you. Call on each other. There is some amazing talent in this network.
